Bai Dinh Pagoda
This is located in Ninh Binh and has many things that set records in Vietnam, Southeast Asia and Asia. It is simply huge and splendid. Firstly, its statue of Bodhisattva is the biggest one of the country. Also, the statue of Thich Ca Buddha there is the highest and heaviest Buddha statue in Vietnam. Trang An Scenic landscape complex is considered as Ha Long Bay on land. It was even recognized as a world cultural and natural heritage by UNESCO in 2014. It consists of limestone mountains, mysterious caves, long rivers and historical buildings. Visitors often go on a boat trip here. This ancient city is the old capital of Vietnam founded by the first emperor of the country, Dinh Tien Hoang. It is located about 6 km from Ninh Binh city center. This place is very famous for its charming beauty. From the viewpoint of Mua Caves, visitors can see the whole area of Tam Coc. There are 500 steps to get to the top but it is definitely worth it. This stairway is similar to the small version of the Great Wall of China. On the way up, there is an altar of Quan Am – the Goddess of Mercy. Also, people can see a big stone dragon here. On this point, people can enjoy a breathtaking view of the river, rice fields and mountains around.
Tam Coc means three caves which make up this site including Ca, Hai and Ba caves. Visitors can join boat trips to go along the river, enjoying the view of the rice fields, the mountains and passing through the mysterious caves here. It could make people feel calm, peaceful and relaxing. This experience is absolutely worth a try.
